Family friendly pub/restaurant in Warwickshire/Briming ham area anyone?

The Red Lion in Alvechurch is very nice - just off J2 of M42. (You can book on their website.)

hi, we are planning to meet friends from Gloucs way over xmas, we are travelling from Nott/Derby area. Looking at map Warwick/Brimingham area look about half way. Does anyone know of a reasonable restaurant/pub in the area we can meet at and eat? Kids are 15, 14, 11 and 6/7..boys and girls. Would be good if something to do in area too even if just a walk (in the rain it looks like at the moment!)
