Toys for 10 month old

Can anyone recommend some toys for a 10 month old. He is a very active and mobile 10 month old who has a great selection of toys and facilities during the week at nursery. Looking to increase our selection at home. Currently loves his walker, banging bricks together and anything that makes noise! He's a big fan of his books too.

I'd appreciate any recommendations for nice toys that you have.

When DS was that age he loved this. You can use it without the legs until they can stand confidently to play with it. DS used it for ages. You mentioned a walker - is <a class="break-all" href="//www.amazon.co.uk/VTech-First-Steps-Baby-Walker/dp/B0002MG6ZE?tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21" rel="nofollow noindex" target="_blank">this the kind of thing you have? Another huge success!

To be honest, anything noisy and flashy was really popular at that age and all the nice tasteful wooden toys got ignored.

Dd loved the Tomy eggs and also chewing happyland figures.

ScottishBritishMNer - so funny - the walker is the style you showed a picture of, but is a Leap Frog one, so pretty much the table top of your first item in a walker!

Wildpoppy- thanks - will take a look at those.

All suggestions welcome!

My DS, almost 10 months loves the same leap frog table you have mentioned but his absolute favourite is a Fisher Price animal train. He just plays with the front train and pushes the big green button and either follows it or runs away from it. It moves by itself and he loves watching the wheels go around and putting things inside. Hours of fun! Next i will pull out the rest of the train as he gets bigger.
