His pic is on my profile -Someone else is riding him though. It's at one of his first shows so he's jumping a bit silly but he's doing much better and he's and absolute sweetheart! We've just been going to little indoor training shows but come spring time we're going to tackle some bigger ones. EEK!

Does anyone else have pics on their profile of their Dhorses/Dponies that they want to share? smile

TeamDamon Sat 21-Jan-12 09:29:42

I wanted to but your profile is private!

bumbleymummy Sat 21-Jan-12 09:34:25

Oops! Is it working now?

TeamDamon Sat 21-Jan-12 09:52:46

It is! He's very handsome. How old is he?

I was a pony-mad teenager who never got to do anything about it and would still love to ride now but at 40 I think I'm a bit past it!

Not at all! There are people at our local riding school in their 60s and 70s! Plenty of people start/start back when they're adults.

He's 5 and 15.3.

Gorgeous boy! Looks very talented!

Sorry no horsey pics on profile, all the space is taken up by DD!

bumbleymummy Sat 21-Jan-12 10:05:45

Thanks Booboo! smile He's been jumping 80s so far but I think he could go much higher. Not sure I can though! smile

He's lovely.I'm glad you've updated us on how you are getting on,I wondered if it was all going ok.smile

I have photos on my profile if anyone's interested.
Bumbley, that's a HUGE leap! smile

Hi mirage!

Yes, it's been ages since I updated but he's going well. I'm so glad we've had such a mild winter. How are things going with you?

Saggy, I know! He can be a bit silly at times! When I was trying him out he decided that the door into the indoor arena was scary and he was doing ridiculous leaps over the jump beside it. At least I know he can lift his feet! smile
I'd love to see your photos but they don't seem to be public yet...

They should be. I've just been there and make public is checked! confused

Olderyetwilder Sat 21-Jan-12 13:14:13

He is lovely! I keep planning on taking some more recent pics of my two, but they are so scruffy at the moment that I think I will wait til the spring grin.

elephantpoo Sat 21-Jan-12 16:26:47

He looks lovely. I hope you achieve what you want with him smile

elephantpoo I love your horse,he has such a kind face, your dds pony looks lovely too.
Saggy I can't see your photos,I want to see Ducky.smile

bumbleymummy Sat 21-Jan-12 18:46:57

Mirage - keep us posted on the other thread - we can resurrect it for horse buying season!

elephant - your ponies are gorgeous! What ages/height are they? What do you do with them?

Saggy. sorry but I still can't see them! I had awful problems getting mine to show up too. Mirage asked to see a photo back in December!

elephantpoo Sat 21-Jan-12 20:05:25

Mirage - thank you. He is such a sweety smile They both are.
Your pony looks very sweet. She looks like she enjoys jumping. That's our aim for this year, to get DD's pony jumping more.
bumbleymummy - thank you smile DD's is a 12.2 Dartmoor and rising 8. We hack out a bit, went to a few local shows last year and a local lady runs a weekly club for lead-rein / first ridden that was great fun. That should restart in Feb. (can't wait........DD's enthusiasm has been dwindling since it stopped pre-Christmas) It's kind of a prep for PC. My Dpony is a 14.1 (though rides alot bigger and is plenty horse-enough for me grin ) Welsh x and rising 7. He was broken in about 1 month before he turned 6, so still very much my baby. He's on short term loan atm, but planning on getting him back in the near future to continue his education and maybe delve into jumpcross. We've done fun rides and hacking mostly-get him out and about to see things, so he needs a bit more schooling before we do much more exciting stuff!
You say you're going to be doing some shows with your new boy......anything in particular? Certainly looks like he'd do well jumping-what a leap grin

That sounds great EP! I'm hoping to do showjumping and possibly working hunter. I'm a bit nervous about it but I'll just throw myself in and I'm sure it'll be fine! smile

Mirage, your pony looks so sweet! I really hope my boys get into riding.I'd love to get them something to potter about on. The smaller the better though!
