Seeking inspiration for schooling sessions when I have no teaher.
Anyone done this? Any recommendations?
Buy the BD test sheets and practice movements/tests?
There are also loads of books with 100s of flatwork exercises.
Do you have a friend who could join you, give advice and make things more interesting?
What kinds of things do you want to work on? What level are you working at? What are yours/your horse's strengths and weaknesses? Maybe we can suggest some exercises?

One word of caution - I saw a local tack shop selling DVDs of dressage tests to help you learn. Good idea but when I checked closely the tests themselves were out of date rendering them useless.
I'd certainly agree with buying BD tests and any booklets they have.
I've always wanted to try Interdressage but have no technical capability (to make a video that is, even though technical ability to actually ride a dressage test is also lacking most days!
)
I think there are quite a few online dressage competition sites these days, usually a listed judge that sends the score sheet.

I've used dressagediagrams.org. Might be worth finding an instructor for once a month to get most out of your schooling, or a local riding club that does sessions?
