Toileting still pretty good, she's not greedy that's for sure there's been a few meals missed but not enough for concern.
My girls feel more confident on having her around which makes me happy and she seems happy to be around us, but if she had to choose between us and our garden there'd be no contest!
The little bugger lulled me into a false sense of security with the 6am thing it's been 445 last 2 nights and for attention not for wee as her pen paper had been well used, I know there's something about 10m wait in Gwen bailey so not sure to try that?

Also training I've speed read Gwen bailey and idiots guide and can see the how to guides for training but I'm still confused by it obv I'm a bigger idiot. What I need is it spelt out ie Do I do 1 training element at a time or have a few different ones on the go but give them there all seperate session though the day

They all seem to say leaving from hand, eye contact are first I think

I would put a stop to the paper in the pen ,sometimes the fact that you allow them to go on paper indoors can confuse them and if she thinks that's ok she will prob keep weeing overnight rather than holding on to it .

So glad you got through the first week - 4.45 made me smile - when my daughter was small, she always woke at 4.44am for a feed! Got used to seeing that time on the clock...

I know lots of people on here have recommended "kikopup" videos on YouTube for training - you could take a look - might be easier to see how it's done rather than reading. Very good luck! Smile

Thank you both trust me she's 10 weeks tomorrow and the min I think it's feasible to get rid of the indoor paper I will she just not quite ready yet. Hi yes Kikopup ill have another look but do you know what I mean, that a schedule would be really useful as I'm confused if I should do the eye contact thing by itself 3 times a day for a fortnight then move onto something else but can't help but wonder if that way shell be ancient by the time I've done everything or do you have a few thing on the go ie eye contact every morn, learn name on an afternoon then practise come every eve.

Hope I'm making sense I'm learning that I'd never have made an older mum this lack of sleep is killing me mentally and physically, actually in her defense its more the fact that sleep is broken than lack of lots of people survive on 6 hrs just I'm not one of them before pup if I'd had 6 hours one night I'd need more the following but that can't happen now so coffee it is!

Hi. You'll find that it's good to mix it up a bit. Do eye contact first after charging the clicker. Then try luring a sit, down and stand all together. It is amazing how quick they learn but keep practising as they do sometimes forget. I always mix things up a bit to avoid boredom, little and often is best eg 3 times 5 mins rather than 15 mins. Also check out apdt training classes when jabs sorted.

Kikopup is the best x

Brilliant paddy, thank you funny enough I booked her training just half an hour a go the lady in charge is APDT trained but not sure if its herself or her helper that will be taking my initial course but I really wanted to try it as its My Petstop which is also a daycare and boarding place and while there's every chance ill not need those services as friends and family have offered to have her ( the only thing were doing this year is Camp Bestival, which is 3 nights in Aug, as were not fortnight abroad people but we do like the odd night or two city break and over the years to come they wont always be dog friendly) and being the way i am i like to cover all bases just in case, so I like the idea of pup being used to an environment like My petstop just in case on the other hand I've never seen a boarding kennel in my life I may hate it and change plans completely well have to see.
