Great. I like Tom and Hal (I love a repressed man!), so it will be like a marvellous supernatural sandwich!
I liked Alex as well; I think she's quite a worthy successor to Annie in her mixture of bravado and vulnerability. Her pandering to males (well, her whole family is/was male) was really quite sad: asking Hal to kiss her "and I won't even look at you", saying there wasn't a bloke alive that she couldn't talk to... Annie was quite handmaidenish, too, especially with that toerag Mitchell, so there's loads if space for her to grow.

Well that was an amazing start to the new series, just brilliant. Loved the double marigolds line too and his general OCD tidying agnst!!
