Im faithfully watching the repeats of series one and loving it. Now, series 4 starts next week. What do you advise? should I just get the boxed sets of 2 and 3 and forget about 4? or, just go straight to watching 4?
I know theres more important things in life but, still.....

Oh you can't watch it out of order, too much has happened. Though I must say I thought it was flagging a bit in S3, I have seen a few episodes of S4 and it is very good.

I just wondered if I should forget series 4 as its on bbc 4 and hope it goes over to bbc2 and some point? by then I shouldve caught up!!

Can you record S4 and save it so by the time you have caught up you will have it ready to go? That's what I did with S3.
Definitely can't skip 2 & 3.

I can save series 4 on my sky planner. It will run out and, I dont know if the bbc will repeat 2 and 3 or, just stop at the end of one. This is because they have brought the new series forward by four months isnt it? I bet the original plan was to show them all.
Maybe I should just forget about four and try and get hold of the other two.
I resent buying the dvd's though tbh, I never watch them again.

Yes I am worried about this too.
I only really started watching Mad Men in series 2 / 3; tho there has been at least one of the repeated series 1 I have seen.
Am not going to buy box sets - but just read in mum's Radio Times some charcater profiles that I didn't know about... arrrgh!
What we need to know is if they will repeat the whole of 2 and 3 on BBC 2 as well. Then we could record series 4 and wait...

I am in the same dilemma. I am going to gamble and record series 4, and then keep my fingeres crossed that BBC2 show the other series quickly and I can catch up in time.

bloody hell, how much space do you have to record??
I reckon it will go onto normal bbc2 eventually dont you? if they do continue right into series two and three then surely they will show four?
I reckon two and three can be downloaded from somewhere, I will have to check it out. I dont like watching things on my computer though!!
