Brilliant! Bet he gave the coppers a chuckle
<whispers, I recently played blind man's bluff, forgot how freaking fun kids games are>
I just read your OP to my DH who was been wrangling teens at school all day. He laughed out loud!

My boy is a scout and he and his team have been challenged a few times when skulking around in the dark. Once by a very scary man who rushed out of the pub convinced they were nicking his petrol and roared at them.
They were hiding behind his ridiculously huge 4x4 as part of an escape and evasion activity.
Another time they were doing emergency first aid and improvising a stretcher, and the police turned up having been alerted by a passing motorist that a gang was carrying a body to bury.
I think some denizens of my low crime area county lack excitement in their lives.
His troop must keep the local police in practise though.
