penguinmum's creamy fish pie: smoky, seasonal fish in a creamy white sauce with grated, rather than mashed, tatties on top - a meal of the highest comfort-food order.

So I'm getting the whole Converse dresses up a pair of jeans thing, but which kind?

(11 Posts)
I had a pair of Converse back when. Obviously I was ahead of my time. wink

I'd like a pair again, but there are a million to choose between.

Which ones do you prefer and why?
envy

Oh.

Get the red hi tops then
Thanks for the concern Colditz, but where I live tis warm year round. grin
I would NOT be wearing COnverse. They are a summer shoe.Your feet will be cold and the slightest drop of rain and you will have trench foot and chilblains.

Get some in the spring!
I like the burgundy ones Bunny but I really like the red ones. grin
I'm just popping out for a couple of hours, will contemplate the beginner look when I'm back.

I prefer the classic ones, i have them in both red and blue
Haven't seen any suede ones about but some of these are nice for a beginner wink

rather cool

different style but nice too
Ooooo Bunny I am way too frumpy to wear something as trendy as that. grin

What about those suede type ones I used to have? Are they still around?
High tops definitely. In whichever colour you like.

I have pale pink, purple, red and these gorgeous Sailor Jerry limited editions
the hi tops are for young folk, imo, the plain, classic ones are best !

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
