Tip of the day

Never ask a child IF they need the loo... moodlum

Quote of the week

CaptainNancy's (admirably succinct) family rules: "Don't be a dingbat/duffer. Keep calm and carry on. Dream big. Shut up and get on with it."

Recipe of the week

Carmenere's cinder toffee: sweet, sticky, made-in-five-minutes toffee squares that'll spark off a few 'yums' among the 'oohs' and 'aahs' of your little fireworks-watchers.

My secret spot recipe - get a cheapo aspirin tablet (dissolvable) (16p in Tesco for a pack) and squish it in your palm with a little water to make a paste. Apply to spot. It contains salacylic (sp?) acid which is what is in the v expensive spot cream and will zap any spot overnight.

Though paste on your chin overnight is not such a good look ... DH will think you've missed with the toothpaste.
aftershave dabbed on spot can be very good at drawing them out
Clinique do a great on the spot zapper, clears up spots like you are describing in 12-24 hours I find.

Mag sulphate paste from chemist. Don't think it's expensive (comes in a little pot.) It sometimes helps to draw things out like that.

Also good if you have splinter or something in your finger that needs to come out.

It might not come to a head, depends on whether or not there is anything in it. Don't squeeze the head it it does appear.

Id rather it just went away.

Face cloth with very hot water on it to the top of the spot and that wil help draw it if you have nothing else.

OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

They are dreadfully sore. If you have a deep cleansing face mask, put a blob right on the top of it and allow it to suck the life out of it. Tea tree can help too. If they are persistent and getting worse, as in more then one or two, going on the pill can help.

what on earth is that and where do I get it at 17 25>?

will it inevitably come to a head though?
Add message | Report | Contact poster By Sat 04-Jul-09 17:23:30
Magnesium sulphate paste sometimes helps to draw out blind spots and bring them to a head.

I get those when I'm due on. On my chin, or by my nose. So attractive.

Hot flannel can help or just make you want to prod and poke even more.

If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
