Tip of the day

Don't get in a panic over Christmas. Keep a box and put a little in it every week - small gifts, wine, nibbles, napkins etc. This way, you'll be more relaxed and less skint in December! keriku

Quote of the week

CaptainNancy's (admirably succinct) family rules: "Don't be a dingbat/duffer. Keep calm and carry on. Dream big. Shut up and get on with it."

Recipe of the week

Carmenere's cinder toffee: sweet, sticky, made-in-five-minutes toffee squares that'll spark off a few 'yums' among the 'oohs' and 'aahs' of your little fireworks-watchers.

I was very disappointed with the ped egg. After grating away for half an hour, my feet were still crusty. angry

I might try the men's one.
What did they do flier?

Was thinking of having one next week but think they might just paint my toe-nails?
I have just purchased my Ped Egg in pink from Boots. Well, dp purchased it for me but looked very hmm when I told him what it was for (he said he was wondering why Boots were selling food things ughh!)

Do I just have a go whenever I feel like it or is there a proper preparation technique for Ped Egging?
I have a ped egg and it is fabulous grin
<b>shhh</b> Superdrug stock a heavy duty Ped Egg 'for men'. Could be worth a try for your DH.

lots of fans here

I'm still waiting for the hard skin to come back so I can have another sloughing sesssion. And it isn't revolting in the least. It's compelling.
sad I think I'd have been better off just buying a ped egg and doing it myself - am very disappointed at my "deluxe pedicure!"

B and M home bargains sell a small one for 75 p worth buying to try out possibly.

I also seen some being sold in a local £ shop they looked like the real thing,I bought one for my sister but it cost me £10 from boots
I think its cause I never wear shoes, unless going shopping etc, I walk around outside all over without them on.

Feet like a cavewoman!!

Ooh - I just got some money into my paypal account from an online survey. Will get potentially fake ped egg smile
you must be like dh disenchanted...dh makes his blunt grin hmm
Mine are rough,

Ive got a pedegg, but even that doesn't seem to help my trotters
LOL at 'this is not a toy' on the Boots site grin Why would anyone even think that it is. Surely it's not that much fun.
Lol, must get quicker!
save your money, just use a cheese grater grin
Mine is exactly the same as my friend's £10 one,

Here
Don't spend a tenner, buy from here. It may well be a fake but it is good quality and works brilliantly.

I reckon dd1 set me up grin
there may be different versions but this one is a tenner from boots
You can get Ped eggs on ebay for about £3 delivered, my hooves are nice and smooth now (I do moisturise them a lot afterwards though)

I tried to get it in Boots yesterday and they didn't know what I was talking about.

It sounds rank when you try and describe it, cathing all the dead skin! I still want one, though a mum at school yesterday said people file too much and don't moisterise enough. Apparently overfiling can compound the problem and create more hard skin. She is a chiropodist.
eugh
how much is it?
shock boak

but it is foul when you dont know what it is and your at your mils and you pick it up, it opens and pours your mils foot dust all over you <boak>

dd1 nearly choked laughing hmm
bodengroupie
so you basically don't have to but fit flops
at forty odd quid - just a ped egg grin
think I'll buy a ped egg anyway then.
its a foot file basically vt, and a good one at that grin
Ped egg? is it some revoutionary foot softening thing?
One side effect of the Ped Egg is that my feet are so soft they can no longer grip my flip flops - so I now have the beginnings of toned legs grin
Thanks. I hope so too smile
I wouldn't have gone out of my way to have gone for one but as I've been given a voucher it is somehow different smile

I hate my feet too
but I dont think I could manage a pedicure
I dont like people touching my feet

Sounds much nicer than a ped egg though

hope you like your new feet after grin
and then I was given a voucher for a deluxe pedicure for my birthday, so I'm going tonight and really looking forward to it. I hate hate hate my feet so hope that afterwards I'll like them a little smile

If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]].
