you know, slightly higher at the bag and longer at the front in a bob style?
Could i get away with that with curly hair?

don't think so....you could have a flicked out bob though. One of my friends with very curly hair had a flicked out normal length bob (i.e. longer at the back than at the front) and because of the curls it sat fantastically well at the back...
I did and it worked (I think...). However, mine was cut with a razor (blade, not electric) and very few hairdressers still do that these days. I think it helped, as scissor cuts ignore the natural curl and cut as if your hair was straight. Mine certainly looked much better after that cut than it ever had.
Your bob will never look sleek, though, like a straight bob does, unless your curls are radically different to mine.

yes I have often had a shorter at the back and longer at the front bob. Not a very short one though, probably level with the bottom of the ear lobes at the back and then coming down to just below the jawline at the front. I have INCREDIBLY curly hair and leave it curly, never straighten it. It doesn't look sleek (obviously
chance would be a fine thing) but it makes a good strong shape which is nice.
i remember having a cut like that in my early 20s. i had a friend who was a fantastic hairdresser and i let her loose on my hair and she did a drastic gradiated 'v' shape at the back (using a razor and scissors like AA) Looked fab - tried to convince my last hairdresser to cut it this way - but she wasn't up to the job and thought it would look silly!!! Have to find a hairdresser with nerves of steel...
yes will look nice as long as they dont cut it to short as then it will spring up and you will look like annie !!!
