what do we think of this dress?

I'd posted before about looking for a dress for a rather well-to-do dinner but within a rather restricted budget - the dress now also needs to do for a date (first in over 2 years!)

What do you think of this dress? My concern is that I have a rather large chest but would purchase a wonderbra ultimate strapless bra (if they are rated to be good for a larger cup size)

thanks Smile

It is a really lovely dress and the contrast in colours between the bust and neckline would probably minimise the inherent issues that larger busted women have with high necklines. Really pretty dress.

thanks cuppa If I go for it would you think the nude colour wonderbra would be the best to go for rather than the white or black due to where the bustline is?

Absolutely - nude underwear always best :)

Gorgeous! You could always try clear bra straps if the strapless bra is no good?

Thanks all - the more you say it is nice the less I doubt my taste in dresses!

Like the dress but I'd be concerned about where the bust line will sit,
I'm just not sure whether the black lace is supposed to sit under or across your bust? I'm on the larger side bust wise and always have this issue with clothes that are designed like this

ah now this is the thing I have wondered about sooper - I'm concerned that the length of the white area on top will be too long and thus make my bust sit wrong on the dress, if this is the case it would be un-wearable.

If anyone can be bothered and sees an alternative if this wont work please feel free to post!

My main issue is the back. Even with a nude bra it will still show.
It looks flat in the front and not sure it will sit nicely with a large bust.
What's your bra size?

It's nice and depending on your skin tone you might even be able to get a normal nude bra to go under without the straps showing.

Yeah, sorry I don't mean to put you off but it's just really hard to know where the line of the white part and black lace will sit until you try it on, having bigger boobs too I always struggle to find things in this style that sit right

I don't think what bra you wear will make much difference to that (although always need a good bra anyway!)

that's a good point lweji

Hmm I think I may be back to the drawing board, any help on alternatives very much appreciated!

I've bid on it, with the reserve that my friend will buy it off me for the a price paid if I win and it doesn't sit right - will post photo if it stays with me Smile
