You could go all Audrey Hepburn in this?
I'm going to get one

Going to eat at Andrew Fairlie. So the dress, has to have some room to accommodate my tummy !.

Ahhhcrap Sun 10-Mar-13 16:08:08

I love the first one but it would depend what it is you're doing?

Slaymill Sun 10-Mar-13 16:02:16

Never realised lace was so marmite

Thanks for the links Sleepwhen I do like Alice and Olivia dresses. They have a
Keely dress which I like.

Thanks cremeeggs I shall enjoy it.

sorry - black one shoulder link failed..it's here

So far the DVF is my favourite..and IMHO, classier than the L'Agence one.

Alternatives:

Michael Kors
DVF again
red DKNY
black one shouldered
another one shouldered black or red or orange
sequinned

KM have concessions in the big stores in Brum and a stand alone store.

I`m having my hair done in the afternoon so I will have a couple of hours to kill.

I`m going to be in scout mode for sure.

cremeeggsrock Sun 10-Mar-13 14:48:35

Im 34gg i feel your pain, i still think the cut of km dress may work, if stuck may be worth a shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FashionFail Sun 10-Mar-13 14:42:41

I like the Biba and the KM.

The others are a style of lace dress that was everywhere in all price ranges last season.

Slaymill Sun 10-Mar-13 14:41:55

Might try the 1st and last for comparison.

The KM dress, lovely material though I think for someone who has a flatter chest I`m 30e.

Munchkin your post made me smile

I am going into Birmingham on Wednesday might sneak into Selfidges.

just to look of course.

noddyholder Sun 10-Mar-13 14:29:31

Those KM ones are beautiful

noddyholder Sun 10-Mar-13 14:29:00

I like the first one

cremeeggsrock Sun 10-Mar-13 14:27:58

I really like the second one. I don't think the biba one is anything special.

Chandon Sun 10-Mar-13 14:16:11

The biba dress stands out, the others are. Bit twelve in a dozen

zoflora Sun 10-Mar-13 14:15:16

thanks slay - I think then that the 3rd one would be really nice

munchkinmaster Sun 10-Mar-13 14:10:55

Hmm if I was skinny and could afford dvf I'd sack coast and DVF it all the way.

QueenCadbury Sun 10-Mar-13 14:07:16

I prefer the 3rd one out of all of them. Is there any possibility of ordering all 3 and then returning? Huge outlay of money initially though but if you order just one and it's no good you haven't got much time until Saturday.

Have you looked at coast?
