Such a lovely day today - made me wonder what I am going to wear with my skinny jeans in the nicer weather.
DC2 is due soon and DS1 is 20 months so I need something comfortable and suitable for toddler groups, trips to the park etc.
I've never got on with ballet pumps as they just seem to make me feel as if I'm walking very flat footed. Any suggestions would be great. I have fairly small feet (size 4).
Brogues? Depends how good/slim your legs are... I think skinny jeans tucked into winter boots is a good look but they are tricky to get right in the summer.
I love wearing skinnies with winter boots. Wouldn't have thought of brogues. Will have to try some and see what they look like. Thanks!
Canvas plims
In summer I wear my skinnies with either open toe & heel ankle boots or with flat sandals depending on if its day or night.
I am either open toes or ankle boots.
Mh ate trainers, ballet pumps, brogues or anything else inbetween
I normally wear ballet pumps but I've been considering a pair of loafers for this summer. Not sure I'm cool enough though to pull it off though.
I'm definitely not cool enough for brogues (plus with size 8 feet I'd look ridiculous).
I love my Toms in warm weather and fit flops in the summer. Hoping to get some use from my brogues too, but I have big feet to balance out my fat arse so it's always a worry that I look like a golf club
I also don't do ballet pumps as I'm prone to plantar fasciitis and need a good padded sole so I know exactly what you mean about feeling flat footed!
I'm a huge ballet pump fan but fancied a bit of variation for spring so have just bought some loafers.
DP is accusing me of trying to be a hipster but I love them already. Tab with little tassels
They also have a bit more of a sole than ballet shoes so I'm hoping they'll keep my feet a bit warmer!
I wear either brogues, Converse, ballet pumps, leather flip flops, or flat sandals depending on the temperature and what I am doing that day!
Flatforms are the new black apparently - so dd tells me

Ooh - please can we have some loafer links. Size 8 feet and looking for some lovely footwear!
Just been looking at some flatforms, they look really nice! Would definitely like some loafers too
Converse
Flip flops.
Supergas. Come in an array of colours so would be easy to find something fun and summery. Much prefer them to Converse.
Heels, wedges, converse, flip flips, flat sandals - anything apart from my winter boots!
I like those flatform sandals , especially in metallics. They look a bit like my sandals when I was a kid
Of course in my minds eye I've got beautiful tanned feet with perfect toes
Ain't ever gonna happen
Usually ballet flats, but am getting another option too this summer. Not sure what yet.
some mules maybe?
I wear mine with converse. Usually high tops. I may be stuck in the style rut of a 12 year old though!
Im dreading the summer, im currently sporting skinnies and ankle boots but i have weird long toes so cant wear anything with an open toe, pumps never fit my feet right, probably because of the long widely spaced toes!, plimsoles make me look like krusty the clown, sooo i may have to go back to the bootcut with trainers
I'm moving away from skinnies this summer. Have size 8 feet and skinny calves so look like an L in superga or ballet flats. I'm going for these shoes, or possibly some brogues, with slim fit flares.
I like Birkenstocks in summer
