I was in Zara today and they have this one. Quite nice, it says it's lined in sheepskin, but only at the visible edges Confused, (unless i picked up a dud), so might not be as warm as expected. Looks good tho.

also looking for something warm and chunky, my old one was past it's best last winter and really is awful now.

I like the look of the Zara one - is it zip or buttons (I wan zipped and everything seems to be buttoned)

Sorry Chasing, buttons iirc, those toggle things, like a duffle. I expected to like the grey best but the navy was surprisingly good.

yes just seen that, thanks. My current one is toggles, which I prefer to buttons.
I am hovering over the grey so interesting comment on the navy.
just found this on one of the links, which I like the look of - and then I noticed the price!!!

Sheesh! For £320 I'd knit that for you myself!!

ChasingSquirrels · 04/10/2012 21:44

this is a bit more reasonably priced!

ChasingSquirrels · 04/10/2012 21:45

lol - can you do it without the red bits :)

Matalan one also nice but no wool in it. Not that the Zara one is a shining example, only 20% wool.

Yes, I could do the £320 one anyway you like! Only problem is the wait time, prob ahem 2014 for delivery. So efficient am I. Grin

matalan one 15% wool, so not much difference to Zara one.
£320 one is 80% - but is ridiculous price.

More wool content anywhere ?

I bought DD1 the Zara one for her 18th birthday, she adores it!! The fluffy bit is really soft and beautiful.

which colour zara one did you get her?

Didn't see that Matalan wool content. Very like the Zara one. In everyway really.

Seriously tho, a half decent knitter could knit that fairly easily. Just need to find one.
