Need a cardigan/wrap/jacket to go with this dress

I have bought myself this dress from Pepperberry in the navy and it is absolutely gorgeous, but, I haven't a clue what to wear with it! It is a slightly deeper navy than it appears in the photo.

I have bought it for a series of weddings I have lined up this summer and really need some advice about what to wear with it.

I am 5'6", have bought it in the 10 Curvy, dark hair and I am fair skinned (although with a light tan now courtesy of L'Oreal!). I think it would look nice with a colour to contrast against it, perhaps coral or a turquoise, although I haven't found anything yet that it suitable. I'm also not sure what shape cardi etc would work with it.

Essentially I'm looking for a pair of shoes to go with it (heels or flats I don't mind) and a cardi or a wrap or a little jacket to go over it.

Thanks in advance! Thanks

Ooh, I like that! Looks like it'd be really flattering?

IMHO a cardy would spoil it, a blazer would work but a shawl would be best. This in either the white or navy base would be very nice, this would be great as well.

Shoe wise, how about these?
or these
love these too
these?
maybe these if you fancy flats

this bag would be good with most of the shoes (but not with the zara flats)
There's a great turquoise bag in accessorize IIRC but the site is down ATM... this is a good colour

Anything tkae your fancy? Not sure how things are budget wise but hopefully some inspiration there at least!

It's a gorgeous dress, really flattering and even nicer than in the photo. It does seem to come up on the bigger size though, I usually wear a 10 super curvy in Pepperberry but had to go right down to a 10 curvy.

That butterfly scarf you linked to is absolutely gorgeous! I hadn't thought of wearing a multi colour one with it. I'm inclined to agree that a pashmina/shawl would work best, or perhaps a shrug/bolero type thing as opposed to a cardi? I tried in on last night with a cardi, just to see how it worked, and as you thought it would it spoils the shape.

I like the shape and colour of the blue patent heels from Zara best, don't suppose you've seen a coral pair similar on your travels??

I like this colour coral pink, or might that be a bit much?

Coral (or indeed pink or orange) would be lovely dune have some patent coral shoes but they're more orangy coral and not as nice a shoe as the zara ones. Mango have some very similar to the zara ones but they're resolutely pink.

these are a very similar colour to the shawl tou linked to but not patent. And the price is shocking.
these are very much orange and not patent either, but they'd work too.

So, no, not really. Sorry.

WRT coverage, you might find a shrug / bolero that doesn't spoil thee shape but you'll probably need to try quite a lot on with the dress. Fafftastic.

Oof! Those Kurt Geiger ones are painfully expensive!

Thank you for those other links for shoes, it's always the way I find, I have the image in my head of exactly what I'm looking for, but can I find it? No!

Hmm, I shall keep searching for the holy grail of shoes!
