Been using Clinique for years but coming to the end of Quickliner. Don't want to spend £13 on eye pencil

Anyone recommend a cheaper brand that is soft and doesn't drag eyelids?

Maybelline- Rimmel, L'oreal etc?

Barbara Daly for Tesco is really good. Very soft. I find NO.7 really hard and unusable, same with Rimmel. Haven't tried L'oreal. My all time favourite was lancome, but it's very pricey.

i have never had a high street brand eyeliner that hasn't dragged and felt like i was screeching an HB pencil across my lid or broken into a billion pieces as i sharpened it.

i gave up and splashed out on a bobbi brown one. the only make-up i now spend more money on is foundation, powder(i'm a greaseball) and eyeliner. everything else is highstreet stuff.

I really like Max Factor's Liquid Effect pencil. Really soft, easy to apply, and lasts all day. Think it cost about £6.

GOSH from superdrug are nice and soft - M&S also do one thats like a slim crayon in a metal outer that twists up as you use it, and comes in lovely colours

I second Barry m or Avon glimmer sticks are good too and only a few quid.

I love Avon Glimmersticks too. Really soft and twist up so don't need sharpening. The are only £6 full price but usually on offer.

<Now wondering if Avon lady will have clocked my '90's Indie kid' leanings with my Dr Martens and constant eyeliner purchases> Maybe she just thinks I eat them as I am slightly eyeliner obsessed!

Urban Decay 24/7 is the best eyeliner I've ever used, bar none. Massive range of colours as well.

I used to use the rimmel khol but it always travelled - now I only ever use mally eyeliner pencils - they last me all day, then night and into the morning....
