Ladies,
I love my skinnies, but always wear knee high boots with them. I am keen to find some ankle boots to ring the changes and hopefully be better for spring(if it ever happens).
I'm not great with heels & am on a tight budget.
Any help gratefully received,
Thanks in advance

Lots of talk of Ash Jalouse on Wise and Avid threads last year.

I love the jalouse but not sure about the distressing they have on the toes on the new ones for this year.

Ooh, love the jalouse, thanks for the ideas, will take a look at the other links now. Thank you
I'm lusting after these Office beauties. THe ones with the studs on them. Don't know why I like them so much but I do. Too ££ still though - weren't put in the sale this Jan. Also quite like these Pied a Terre ones. Both a bit pricey perhaps tho?

Well whaddya know? I was about to start a thread on this very subject.
I also need to break out of the "knee boot rut". I fancy something not in black, maybe tan or grey, mid heel - some nice ones here.
I rarely buy shoes online, as I have knobbly bunions rather wide feet, so any links to high street boots would be welcome.

I know, I know, it's M&S, but what do the style queens think of these? Or these?

I am living in these at the moment - they have tassels in RL like the Acne Pistol boots.
And for spring - I have in the light tan very convincing Marant lookalikes.

Like the new look ones, are they comfy to wear? I have never bought shoes in new look.

MrsCampbellBlack Are the Marant looalikes true to size? Sorry for quick hijack. I'm a 6.5 narrow to average width, should I size up or down?

I had similar concerns re: distressing on the Jalouse so I went for the jessbis instead, though I did take the skull (!) and the tassel off. They are much less distressed than the Jalouse and you don't really notice the difference between the toe and the rest of the boot iyswim.

I am waiting for these to be delivered. The Jessbis look lovely - alas out of stock in my size
I have the ash Crosby studded boots. Sadly I paid full price and am a bit gutted now but they are super comfy and surprisingly go with most things. Ash boots are great because they don,t seem to need worn in they are instantly comfy.

So many cute boots! I love the Jessbis and they have my size in the sale BUT I need flat ones as I can't handle heels+buggy+being v tall. The ASOS tan ones upthread are winning so far for me ...

New Look tend to be small to size in my opinion - I'm really a 2.5 but can get away with a 3 there.

As a separated lady, I am trying to stay away from leopard print as it reminds me of my MIL who is desperately single & loves her animal prints.

I'm a little bit in love with my camel coloured 'work' boots. I don't know how to do' linky things but they're not my usual style but are just soooooo comfy and look nice with a floaty girly top to balance the outfit.
