Our SN area is not a substitute for expert advice. While many Mumsnetters have a specialist knowledge of special needs, if they post here they are posting as members, not experts. There are, however, lots of organisations that can help - some suggestions are listed here. If you've come across an organisation that you've found helpful, please tell us. Go to Special needs chat, Parents with disabilities, SN teens, SN legal, SN education, SN recommendations.

I've been AWOL, miss anything? Oh and DD can walk properly now!

Sorry I have not been in here for a while.
Not really had much to report and I know so little still about the SN world, never had to get statement ect that I felt it was best to leave all the advice to the experts.
The only news I have got to report is that DD 21.5 months, who took first steps at just turned 19 mo, is now off and properly walking alone.
All over the place.
Its wonderful to see and she is having such fun. Now DH and I know what all toddler fuss is about but am very glad we have that 'problem' wink.
