Any tips??

I managed to get him to look at a book for twenty minutes last night.

He's had a result back for English Lit, a C . (disappointing when we know he can achieve an A.)

He's very bright, but there is no talking to him!

No idea. DD (also yr 10) is hurtling towards exam catastrophe. I have an appointment to see SENCo next week.

I was going to say bribery.

Also, could you write him a daily timetable that has studying slots in it? Then he knows in advance when he will have to study?

bumping. Just about managed to get him to look at two subjects for twenty minutes each last night.

When he responds ' what's the point?'

I am finding myself bribing him with time on the computer, or threatening him with no computer for not studying.
