He looked tired - I put him down for a nap, nipped out of the room to get something, came back and he was asleep! Thumb in mouth, cuddling teddy, quite content. No whinging, no needing to be picked up and rocked, walked round, jiggled, swung....

This is the first time this has ever happened at naptime - so it IS possible!

Excellent! My 9 week old DS just went to sleep in his rocking chair with minimum fuss - also a first - I can't quite get over it tbh.

Long may they continue

My 4mo DD just went down for her morning nap without BF. I am still in shock. Of course, she might wake up after 35 but I don't care (today)!!!

He only slept for 40 minutes but it still feels like a real achievement. Crossed fingers it's not just a one-off.

Reluctant nappers of the world unite!

Arse. DS just woke up too. So that's all of 25 minutes Just enough time for me to get dressed, clean face, hang washing out, make cup of tea and worry about his unusual silence.

But yes tinier, you are right - they all have to start somewhere!

Yep, me too. Woke up after 35 min. For the "long" nap as well. But because I did not BF her to sleep, I whipped out a boob when she woke up and now she is down again

hehe, the magic power of the boob DS is slumbering in the Wilkinet after getting upset by digestive issues. It's so tiring being small, isn't it?
