Can anyone help me with interpreting a dream please?

Is anyone any good at interpreting dreams? I sometimes look them up on the internet, but often they are so weird there isnt any meaning! I do have a lot of very random dreams, and its one of the reasons I'm sure I'm always tired because they are so involving and I have so many of them (can often remember 5-6 when I wake up). I had a really strange dream last night thats disturbed me a bit. It does involve a baby and its not a nice story, so dont read any more if I'm likely to upset you..............................

I dreamt that I was in a dance class (I do zumba twice a week so must have been something to do with that) and there was this big black guy with massive muscles also taking part in the class watching me, at the end of the class he followed me home and I got scared so I ran. There was a house with a light on in the porch, so I raced in there and went to knock on the door, only the door was already ajar, so I went in and locked the door behind me. At this point the man disappeared and I walked through the house calling to see if anyone was home. No one replied but I could hear a snuffling noise. I followed the noise and I ended upstairs in a bedroom. On the bed was a suitcase. The snuffling stopped. I opened the suitcase and buried in amongst the clothes was a tiny baby. It wasnt breathing. I picked it up and sat on the bed cradling it. And then I cant remember anymore. Its really disturbed me, I know its only a dream but I cant get it out of my head. Is it literally a baby in my thoughts, or is it a symbol of something else?

Any thoughts gratefully received :)

Interesting, but no idea - try re-posting in Chat for lots of traffic? I want to know now too!

Fear of starting a new project? Fear of beginning something? Are you considering doing something new and you've been thwarted?

moonmrs · 30/06/2012 12:06

Thanks for your replies :)

bb I might try re-posting if no one else replies, thanks.

sundae we've been trying for a baby for 4 years, 2 miscarriages and still trying, so something new no, but thwarted yes.

Suitcase very womb like. Baby/new life.

I think the Zumba class/muscles represents free modern life and your a bit scared of it and want to return home to family life.

Did you post elsewhere?

barbie1 · 30/06/2012 21:26

Bumping this because i also want to know what moonmrs dream means!

Rumours · 01/07/2012 09:40

Another bump because I want to know too. Like the thought that the suitcase is womb like, interesting...

DoingItForMyself · 01/07/2012 09:53

Agree that the suitcase and baby part are obviously related to your TTC and miscarriages.

Being scared of a big muscly black man could indicate that you're a bit racist?!

moonmrs · 01/07/2012 14:20

Thanks for the bumps :)

Interesting thought about the suitcase being womb like - maybe it means I think my womb isnt capable.....

sundae I'm quite happy with my life, definitely not scared, but do long for a family life. No didnt post anywhere else in the end, I'm sure most people arent interested anyway.

doingit I just wondered if it meant something less obvious. And I am not racist! I like all people, they are fascinating creatures, and was quite shocked that I should be running away from him.

I don't think it's racist! I think it's the ultimate symbol if strength and manliness and along with the modern life Zumba, it seems as though you are straining to get home to a more domestic/feminine environment.
