I can't work out from the website
whether it is self catering or not. In the costs section in very small print is a cost for catering.

Hi - the apartments are self catering but you can opt for a meal package (breakfast or breakfast and dinner) at a restaurant a minutes walk away
Ooo that sounds like a good idea. Really cba to go skiing and have to do the cooking but I like the look of Puy St Vincent.

Last year we tended to feed the kids in the apartment, take them to the evening kids club and eat in one of the restaurants before picking them up. It worked well for us.
Puy and Snowbizz are great with young kids. Since the children were babies we have DIY'd but decided to try Snowbizz last year (driving to retain some of our independence!) and the fact that we are going with them again this year speaks for itself.

I love snowbizz (this will be our third year) but I haven't been anywhere else with children (we are trying somewhere else later on in the season to see how it compares). It is perfectly suited to kids - the childcare is excellent and the resort is small so you don't have to lug skis/helmets/boots for miles.
It is based on self catering - to be honest I prefer that because you can eat breakfast in your pyjamas and then get everyone kitted out for ski gear. The restaurants obviously will serve you food when you want it (they are only about 30m from the flats, and on wooden walkways), but i tihnk a lot of people have a big lunch out and then something small for tea.
The slopes have always had good snow ime and are also sunny (so very pleasant). Absolutely brilliant with kids.

Hi, we've just returned from a week with Snowbizz in Puy last week. You can do either - as far as I could tell if you opt for the catered option you have your meals in the Petit Chamois restaurant a short walk across the snow from the apartments. The whole thing is a brilliant set-up and the kids (5 and 2) loved it. We can't wait to go back next year. To be honest the self-catering is really easy - there's quite a big well-stocked Sherpa supermarket, or if you're driving as we did, we just stocked up on the way. The bakery is really good too with tasty bread and croissants for breakfast.
Have fun.
