I'm trying to book a short break in Morzine (all by myself!). I've found a woman only 3 day ski course and flights but now need to get somewhere to stay. It's proving difficult. I want to go from Sat 21st to Wed 25th of Jan but can be a little flexible (need to be there on the 21st). Do any of you have any ideas or insider information as to where I could stay?

Have you had any luck yet?

If not, have a look at Chalets Direct and post your request in The Solutions Room (bottom left of the home page). We've found some great places using this site.

www.chalet-philibert.com/gb/acc_phil_gb.htm is a lovely place to stay although a little bit out of the centre

I booked with skidegrees in the end. they gave me the best price and the chalet looks nice (in the photos anyway).

I go on saturday, am very excited but also very worried. I've never been on holiday on my own before and am concerned that I won't be able to cope ith the skiing! However conditions look fantastic smile

I've just come back from Morzine. I went on my own for 3 nights, but have friends out there. I had a fantastic time and a break from the kids did me good. Pistes in great condition, off piste not so great but more snow due this weekend. Have fun.

I'm looking forward to the break too. And for once skiing without kids, can't believe how easy it has been to get all my packing organised this week compared to the usual nightmare smile

I'm back. Snow was amazing. Ski course was challenging and i really hurt my foot. Chalet was quite nice but very quiet (only me plus 2 others) but the food was appallingly bad. Worst chalet food ever by a long way. There was only one poor chalet girl who was very nice and helpful but was simply a dreadful cook. Cheap ingredients poorly executed.
