Recipe of the week

penguinmum's creamy fish pie: smoky, seasonal fish in a creamy white sauce with grated, rather than mashed, tatties on top - a meal of the highest comfort-food order.

On 'search' I can't get a couple of things to work

(7 Posts)
I can't get chosse topics to work either
Choose Topics is still not working as far as I can tell
The date thing is working for me now - using Google Chrome. So Tech must have been playing with it today.
And when you search, and then click on one of the threads that has been retrieved by the search, it just goes to the topic (eg sleep) rather than to the thread you want, which you then can't find (eg how the heck do I get my baby to have a nap). Infuriating!

'Choose Topics' doesn't seem to pop up the topics list, and has been the case for a few days for me.

Also I can't get the dates to go in automatically either now.

Might be my stooopid pc though which is being very annoying (as usual). Apologies if this has already been flagged up.

Thanks! smile

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(
For an envious face, , type [envy]
For a sceptical face, , type [hmm]
For a no comment face, , type [biscuit]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
