Well everyone kicked up quite a fuss the last time i touched the smilies as RoseOfTheOrient so rightly pointed out that i think i will have to consider releasing that one.

Anyway, as Justine said:

"not until the 24th - ie a week before - or we'll get shouted at and we've already got a nasty headache."

smile

The answer to this is Yes, of course you may have halloween smilies but not until the 24th - ie a week before - or we'll get shouted at and we've already got a nasty headache.

I s'pose they could use those horrific smilies that were introduced for a few hours a few months ago....remember? the axe murderer grin, the leering peedo wink, the blow-job shocker...shock
everyone made such a fuss, BigTech changed them back...but they were truly frightening <shudders at the memory> wink

Super-quick smacking survey, you say?
I strongly disapprove of super-quick smacking.

Do we get the ghoulish grins now, please?
Do we?
Do we?
Huh?

I've done the survey. We'll consider it sounds very much like 'we'll see' and I use that often enough to know what it means hmm

oh goodness you're up late Justine!

I have already done survey <swot> but will do again pretending to be someone else if that helps?

I could be bookish but secretly angry from Norfolk?

Or loud and overbearing from swansea?

Happy to help any way I can.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(
For an envious face, , type [envy]
For a sceptical face, , type [hmm]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
