Deliberate derailing of threads!

General question. 😅

When posters deliberately derail a thread to get it deleted, can you not just delete those posters?

A general question is asked on site stuff, other posters add details to make it a TAAT to derail. It’s really annoying. Is there anything in talk guidelines to prevent this happening?

Yep it's really tedious

And pretty effective wrt closing down discussion on certain subjects
