The app has started telling me mistruths again

Saying it hasn't posted when it has. It's happened to me twice today.

You're going to have double posts.

Hey Cozie, thanks for raising the issue - it's a fix that we have scheduled to implement soon, but unfortunately takes a bit more work than usual bug fixes :(

We think it the error occurs when there is a network error and the app can't tell that the post has already been sent. We're working on a fix so that our servers ignore the second identical post, sorry for the delay!

Thanks, Tim. It's not as bad as it was before, certainly. Just that I've noticed a few double posts creeping in to some threads so I put 2 and 2 together. (Often a risky thing to do, I acknowledge.) I'm still 'trained' to check which is why I found out.
