MN crashing every five to ten minutes. No problems with other sites.

I've cleared cache, gone back to factory version of Chrome. Restarted. Logged out and back in.still happening.

Hi there! Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Is this still a problem? And what sort of device are you on?

MrsBertMacklin · 29/03/2015 13:20

Hello, Iona. Still happening. I'm on a Samsung S3. Started when I applied the latest Chrome app update, but still happening after factory rollback. Anything else I should try?

Having major problems with mobile site, on Samsung Tablet, Chrome.

Loading is interminably slow, had 408 time out, when the page does load it is just one long column, help please!

emotionsecho · 29/03/2015 14:41

I don't know if my last post posted as it just hung and then crashed so I'm trying again.

Samsung Tablet, Google Chrome. Site is interminably slow to load, had 408 time out, when it does load it loads as one long column, help please.

The issues with the mobile site recently are getting very wearisome.

emotionsecho · 29/03/2015 15:12

Have switched to Desktop Site on Samsung Tablet, Google Chrome, and it loaded quickly and properly with the right screens, etc., so it does appear that the issue is the mobile site (again).

It seems ne'er a week passes without a thread in Site Stuff started about problems with the mobile site on one or other combination of device and browser.

Gah! Sorry about this everyone. We've reported this to Tech now. To be honest, we doubt there will be any update today on this but we'll post again as soon as there's any news. Thanks again for bearing with us and the sulky mobile site.

emotionsecho · 29/03/2015 18:16

I was beginning to think it was me Iona and that I have hitherto unknown powers to corrupt the mobile site on my Tablet Grin.

Tell the mobile site sulking is definitely not allowed otherwise gin rations will be removed forthwith.

I'm having trouble posting on my phone - Sony Experian, android, chrome. Doubly frustrating because I can't post at all on the desktop site with my computer on either chrome or firefox.

Having to use DH's ancient laptop Sad

emotionsecho · 30/03/2015 00:49

Iona can you ask Tech to deal with the ongoing mobile site problems as a priority please.

As an aside, what device and browser system was the new mobile site designed to achieve optimim performance with?

emotionsecho · 30/03/2015 01:52

Using the Desktop Site on Tablet and it is now also playing up, taking ages to load and every third or fourth load loading one very long column of information.

'Tis also a bit of a faff trying to read/use the Desktop Site on a mobile device.

emotionsecho · 30/03/2015 14:38

At the risk of tempting fate thought I'd just let you know that the mobile site has behaved very well so far today, not a sulk in sight!
