Pound sign/ euro sign on iphone site not working

The pound /euro sign can't be used on the iphone Mumsnet app. It has been 'broken' for aaages. Please please fix it.

Testing. £ € As I've had this recently, and I'm on Android. And, not on the app!

Still broken. I just pressed the euro sign about 3 or 4 times and did the same with the pound sign.
It has been like that for yonks and nobody has bothered to fix it. Sob.

Just popping on to see if Euro-kay.

As penance for subjecting you to that terrible joke, we'll try to get it fixed ASAP.

I noticed this earlier today, when I posted a comment about XX about a product. It came out with that weirdy thing - as Achy said ^^

Sorry everyone. We'll add this to the list of Things To Do On The App, but for now, if the app starts to annoy you beyond all reason, please have a go on our mobile site instead.

It hasn't been fine on the app since you changed all the emocions. Eons ago... last year? 2012?
