Thread in FWR vanished/previous odd issues with poster there?

Hi MNHQ,

I was just posting on a thread in FWR Chat ('Scottish Feminists') and it vanished, about ten seconds later (!) with no message to say why. I was talking to another poster on there, and earlier this evening I reported what seemed to be another technical issue, in that his/her posts were not all showing up when I did an 'Advanced Search' - specifically, I could see he/she had posted in FWR Chat when I looked at threads in the section, but on Advanced Search none of these showed.

Are the two things related, or what's going on? I'll report this just to get your attention, let me know if that's overkill in Site Stuff or if the procedure here is the same as everywhere else.

That's the one, Catherine, thanks. I can see it when I click your link, but it doesn't show up on my ThreadsImOn (and can't have dropped off, I have other threads from much further back still there). I can't see it if I click on FWRChat either.

Any ideas what's going on?!

Thanks Catherine! I know at least one other person had the same issue as me with Advanced Search seeming to 'lose' posts from FWR Chat, which might be related - I will go ask if anyone else has the same issue with disappearing threads somewhere where people are more likely to see it.

Oh, no, it did, and also, some kindly soul has pointed out that I am an idiot and has shown me how to find hidden threads. I've never used it, I must've clicked something by accident.

I'm now just curious why advanced search isn't showing up posters I can see posting ... odd ...

Hi LRD, there's been a problem with advanced search today. It should be fixed by tomorrow morning.
