I had been hoping they'd say something intelligent, informed and balanced about the old golliwog issue, but clearly they couldn't be arsed. I know we've had this discussion on MN several times before but am still stunned by people's lack of knowledge and inquisitiveness on the whole subject of golliwogs, and especially by hearing it presented in such a one-sided way on the Beeb.
