When they say a baby can only sit in the pushchair seat from 6 months, is it really from 6 months or can it be used earlier if you have per say a larger baby?
TIA

It's more to do with development and how long you want them to be in it for, which pushchair are you wanting to use?

It's to do with baba spine and breathing. Laying fully reckoned is better for both than being folded in half.
Bugaboo cameleon lays down fully but it still says from 6 months.

Cameleon has a bucket seat hence bad for breathing. In the bugaboo instructions it says that the bucket seat can be used from 4 months of age fully reclined for SHORT periods of time so up to a couple of hours like a car seat. I would use a small folded blanket to pad out a bucket seat and make it flatter if that makes sense. The silver cross wayfarer used to come with a special cushion specifically for that purpose so you didn't have to use the carrycot until 6 moths.

Molk I've used the BJCS seat from 5 months as my twins also had outgrown the bassinet. We never used it for very long walks anyway and I made sure they were always flat at home (playmat or cot)
Didnt have any info about this in the instructions.

I would leave your baby lying flat as long as is reasonable. If you can get to the 6 month mark then great but for example my DD was sitting up unsupported by 6 months so she was in her seat by 5 and a half months. DS was pretty sick, so he got sat in a seat again by 5 and a half months. But with both, I tried my best to keep them there as long as I can. If the carrycot is looking big, stick with it - another month cosy in a carrycot would be better for spine development than a month too soon in a bucket seat. My 2 year old can still fit in the Versa carrycot, and the City Select one is a similar size.

Yes unless it's tiny I'm not sure how most outgrow before 6 months. Yes more snug but not outgrown. 18 month is tall and could still squeeze in and sleep if needed in cameleon
