fitting Maxi cosi Cabrio onto BJCS

I hope someone can help as the instructions are a bit cryptic.
I thought the car seat was supposed to click into place, but I can't make it "click" and it looks like I have to use the straps to secure it into place.

Is this how it is supposed to be, or am I doing something wrong??
