Hi I'm getting rid of my silver cross 3d system as its complete rubbish but I have to exchange for something that is in the shop I bought it from. I'm looking at the Graco Symbio B, the reviews are good but so were the ones for my current pram, so I thought I'd see if anyone on here has got it and what you think of it???

If you'd come here we could have told you not to get the 3D!!
I've heard good things about the Symbio and Symbio B too. There's a review on Pushchair Trader, although in all honesty, I think they can focus on the positive a bit too much sometimes, ignoring the negatives.
Which shop are you buying from? We could look through the options and see what looks best for you.

Wish I had, we bought it when I was 18 weeks pregnant, my daughters now 5 weeks and I can't bear it! We bought it from babies r us. Really I would like a refund so I can go elsewhere and get the o baby but they won't do it!!

In that case I would be choosing between the BabyStyle Oyster and the Graco Symbio B. I would also suggest the Silver Cross Surf if it hadn't jumped in price so much!
Was it the OBaby ZeZu you wanted? If so, then it sounds as thought they're quite nice to push but not really built to last and the seat isn't very big.

Yes a few of my friends have got them but then they haven't had them long so wouldn't know if hey are any good long term. Thanks for your help I really like the look of the oyster so will give it some thought!

The only negative about the Oyster is that the seat back isn't huge, so if you're daughter is likely to be very tall it probably won't last her past 2 and a half heightwise. Other than that, it's nice to push, compact, folds with the seat either way, very narrow, and you can change the colour easily. If you do get it, then I would definitely suggest you buy the air tyres for it. They cost about £25 and make a significant difference to the suspension. I don't think Babies R Us sell them though.

I have the Graco symbio not the B. I love it BUT it's quite heavy with out DS in you need a big boot or cupboard to store as you have to dismantle it to collapse we have a toyota avensis the boot is huge But when the pram is in we struggle to fit the food shopping in. Also my DS is 13 months he's a big lad 2ft 8 and 26lb and he looks like his wearing it, im in the process of looking for a new pram.
It says up till 3 or 15kg but not a chance in hell. X

She is going to be tall I think, my first is very tall. Perhaps the symbio b is the way forward then, I will check the size when it's folded though, we have an Astra and an Alfa, the silvercross only just fits in the Alfa so if it's any wider we might struggle. It will be good to see both in real time as I've only looked at them online. I know the symbio is over 3kg lighter than the silvercross so that will be much better. Really regret getting the 3d now, never again, I can't wait to get rid of it next week!!!

If you struggle to fit the 3D in I don't think you will get the symbio in. Iv had the 3d in my car (my friend has one) and the symbio takes up loads more room.
If you think she's going to be tall I don't think it will last that long.

Ahh blimey, I swear it wasn't this hard to choose a pram with my first, there's far too many to choose from now and all so different, what a pain!!

Ahh yes we did look at that but my other half doesn't like the look of it. Think we're definitely going to go with the symbio b, it meets our needs and looks nice!!

Quality - The carrycot sinks down
By Never Again Toys R Us or Graco Product from Glasgow on 13/2/2012
Pros: AppallingCons: Poor DesignDescribe Yourself: First Time ParentBottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend
The carrycot sinks down, my baby curls into a ball, stretch himself out of the ball position with great discomfort, he is clearly in pain. Toys R Us say its the design, since when putting a baby through pain is the design. I wouldnt recommend this Product to anyone and people who have it should check it out before it damages your childs back.
The Customer Service are not helpful at all in Helen Street, Glasgow.

I love my Oyster. It pushes like a dream and is so easy to open, close, recline, change the seat direction etc. highly recommend it.

I have a graco Symbio and although I am overall fairly happy with it, I don't think I'd recommend it really. I agree with poster who says it doesn't come up very large. My son is 17months and really fills it up. Another problem I have with it (not sure if it's just mine?) is that if you have to go down steps or even just one high curb the frame can't take the pressure on the large back wheels and folds up! the net underneath is tiny. Put your raincover in it and there's no way you'll fit anything else in.
It's a lovely smooth pram to push though, very light to manoeuvre. Very easy to recline. The seat will face either way. But also you can move the handle to the front/back of the pram if you want to change the direction your child is facing in seconds (if there is a cold wind you want to get them out of for eg).
I'm pregnant now and even though I've only had the Symbio for less than six months im pretty sure I'll be swapping it when the new baby comes.

Flagnogbagnog... There good points which I havent noticed.... I hate Flat tyres... its a beautiful pram to look at but its not worth the money... I got it for £475 when it wasnt in the sale.... so so true... the pressure of the frame and the basket, cant put any thing in it... I also feel with the carrycot its not very stable on the suspension... I can see my babies head moving left to right... I would never ever recommend the Symbio B to anyone even to someone I dislike.

We did get the symbio b in the end and I love it. I haven't had any problems with it all, my daughter is comfortable in it and I think the carry cot is quite big. The only thing I have noticed is that it slants very slightly towards the head but other people can't see it. It's really easy to fold and fits in the boot great. Thanks for your help.
