Thanks Rosa, good to know. Did you use Ikea taps with it, or others?

I've had IKEA washbasins and units (not those ones) and they were fab. Unfortunately they no longer do either of the ones we had or anything suitable for our needs. Shame. Ours wore very well.

Just put in ikea washbasins, no stand. They are lovely and sturdy. Had to get ikea taps as non standard size on the Ann sinks. Not hugely keen on the look of them, but they seem to work well enough.

The house DS bought last year came with a very similar Ikea sink. Neither of us likes it. It looks very smart but I'd call it a triumph of form over function. Though the base appears to slope slightly towards the plug-hole for drainage, in practice it doesn't drain well. And spat-out toothpaste just sits there and hardens as the sink is difficult to rinse with the Ensen tap.

That metal tray thing just gets on your nerves - his is shoved out of the way in the cabinet underneath. The only thing I like is the incorporated shelf at the back, which is handy.

Ah, I thought the metal tray would be annoying. It's more the size that I like, and the shelf at the back. Hope non Ikea taps would fit this model!
