Go to the doula uk site and look at training to be a recognised doula.
I'm doing it with nurturingbirth.

VictorianSqualor · 14/05/2008 18:02

become a doula on doula uk, or nurturingbirth courses.

I'm another MN Doula. Also trained with NB. Been working as a Doula for 2years now, and love it.

The one thing is (as with any self employed job), there is no guaranteed work, but I don't think any Doula does the work for the money, it's because we love what we do and are all very passionate about it.

jofeb04 - oh its not really the money, its just something i'd love to do.
