Hello ladies
I'm around 10 weeks and so far, despite very painful breasts, there has been no increase in size. I'd read that there's a growth spurt in the first and third trimesters. Thus far the first tri is not proving true for me!
When did you notice a change?
Not a critical question but I live overseas where maternity wear of any sort is VERY limited so wondering how/when to plan ahead for this, if possible!
thanks in advance...x

Mine didn't really grow until 3rd trimester (when they exploded).
1st trimester in my case, several cup sizes in the matter of weeks. I certainly hope there's no growth spurt in 3rd trimester, looking a bit ridiculous already.
24+6 here and still waiting for growth! They do feel firmer than before but that's about it so far.
Mine never increased in size at all.

Very early on they became enormous. It was how I knew I was pregnant. As did everyone at work. They also grew in the last trimester. Per pregnancy I was a d cup, at 38 weeks I cried in John Lewis when the shop assistant shouted out that I needed a g cup bra.

I was two cup sizes bigger by 11 weeks. Then they stayed the same and fitted in the bras I bought at 11 weeks. I've just hit 35 weeks and they seem to have grown again overnight!

Mine never really changed, no discomfort and they didn't get bigger. They didn't get smaller though and I was slimmer during pregnancy than usual, except for the bump. Breastfed no problems.

I was wondering the same Kelly, mine feel fuller and much more tender however size wise no change yet. A bit gutted by all the comments about boobs not growing - am only an A cup and was banking on this as being my first experience of actually having boobs and maybe not having to wear a padded bra for once!!!! Fingers crossed!

When my milk came in. Then they settled down again when I introduced solids at 6 months, and are now 2 cup sized bigger (partially offset by one band size smaller) at 2yr5mo (still feeding twins 2 - 4 times each in 24 hours).
They didn't change at all in pregnancy, except to get really itchy and sensitive.

First trimester loads
At end of second trimester now and they've definitely calmed down growth wise. Really really hoping for no more growth in third!

My sister in law said hers didn't get noticeably bigger until 1 cup size up when her milk came in.
But mine went up 3 cup sizes in the first trimester. Thank god they seem to have stopped growing for now!
Everyone is different. If you can, maybe you ask mum or sister how theirs changed and you might be similar.

Mine were a bit fuller in the first trimester but then I discovered that was due to the progesterone supplements I was on. The returned to their original size once I came off them and are still the same size they've always been at 37 weeks.
My mums grew a lot when she had me so I don't think there's any correlation I'm afraid.
Mine never did ever. Tis not fair.
I don't think mine grew either until the baby/s was born and the milk came in
Mine only got bigger when the milk came in after having each of my DSs. But when it did I went up 3 cup sizes

Mine got bigger in first few weeks but now at 30 weeks they seem to have shrunk back to normal. Still a bigger back size but nowhere near as 'full' as they were.

Mine grew three cup sizes by the time I was 5 weeks. Am now 11 weeks and they haven't grown anymore since. My husband is slightly disappointed as he was hoping they would keep on growing! They were very tender to begin with but that has now settled down although my nipples are still very tender and sensitive.

So helpful to hear such varying experiences. Mine grew in the first trimester, but under a cup size - like the other smaller ladies I was a bit disappointed! At 34 weeks I haven't grown again, so am still waiting on buying some nicer new bras...
