I'm looking for healthy, nausea friendly snacks really. Hula Hoops are my downfall, they really work like nothing else. Apart from those, I seem to pile on the pounds from an early stage without actually doing too much else wrong (water retention?) and I find it quite depressing

I get SPD and can't walk anywhere <mourns> My body just doesn't take to this pregnancy lark
Gosh yes I forgot that pleasure that I had (although not to a debilitating level last time)!

Just avoid eating too many sugary and fried things. That's not to say you can't eat a whole box of the odd Thorntons chocolate now and again.

I've joined slimming world to limit my weight gain (already carry around two extra stone) to just what the baby needs. I've been mainly having carbs too but they are free on this plan so I've actually lost 3lbs overall since my BFP (9 weeks + 2 now). It seems to be working well and it's keeping me focused on healthy snacks and limiting chocolate etc. It's more about eating healthy balanced meals than restricting calories.
