Wooohhoooooo!

Thought it was time, after all i HAVE made it through 22 weeks of my mad loony journey!

Ok, so this pregnancy lark, not one to complain as you all know me, BUT its not fun is it.
I am GRATEFUL beyond words for the absolutel miracle that is this baby, but ooh eck, tis hard going for an old lady in bad shape! Grin

Ive been called an oompa loompa, a weeble, a walking wardrobe and worse at work!
Good job i have a sense of humour, although i would rather be warned of impending laughter as my pelvic floors are loooooooose!

Holy mother of crap thread, can now be mothballed as i am here..on pregnancy, i have made that step away from the miscarriage/loss board! GrinSmile

Congrats, my best friend had her DS just shy of her 43 birthday after a miscarriage and all sorts of other crap in her life.

DH and DSIL were also born either side of their Mum's 40th and they certainly kept DMIL fit.
So here's to older Mother's, and their lovely DCs.

I'm nearly 40 and falling to pieces too. I understand. I moan a LOT Grin

Someone kindly told me the other day that I am now walking like a duck, when viewed from behind. I know. It's because my legs don't work any more.

26 weeks here, lady we are on the home strait Smile

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Where'sMyCow.

Hi nananaps glad to see you. Have you hit melon size now do you reckon?

I think midnight panics are normal when you think what you've been through to get to this point.

Squeeee for 22 weeks!!! Grin

Hellooooo! Im here and im fat n fine!

24 weeks approaching which means 3rd trimester i believe!!

There is much rummaging and kicking within my abdomen, complete with hicupps and whole body flips...its ace!

Still going well and now i am so relaxed and happy i dont recognise myself.

Nowadays, partial to double deckers and twix bars...although got a glucose tolerance bastard test next week, so going to have to slow down with the chocolate treats if i am going to pass that bugger!

Ahhhh thanks for sticking with me girls, you are lovely xxxxxxxxxx

Another one from your old thread who was getting quite worried but HURRAY!!! you're on the pregnancy bit now Smile, so glad everything is going well!!

One of the benefits of being a geriatric mummy is that people think you're younger than you actually are ("She's pregnant/has just had a baby, so she MUST be under 40") Grin. (Little do they know that physically you feel near retirement age ...)

Many thanks for the link wheresmycow!

Well I'm 37 but high mileage, so my body is also well and truly knackered and I'm really feeling the strain! 22 weeks and already looking online for a pelvis support thingy as mine is coming apart front and back and it hurts!

So glad to have found this thread! Glad all is well nananaps - even if it's knackering in the process! Grin
