Pain on one side of bump....

I'm 35 weeks and feel like I've pulled a muscle in my stomach/bump. It's on the right had side, high to middle of bump. And really hurts when I bend or twist. It aches when I'm just sitting. I wonder if I overstretched when I was closing the office windows.

Has anyone had anything like this? Or can reassure me. I keep forgetting and then squealing in pain when I try to put my shoe on, for example.

Thanks.

i would call the midwife or go to hospital and get checked.

it is most likely just a pulled muscle, or an ache from everyhirng stretching and moving, but (and i relaly don't want to scare you here) my friend had this and it was a placental abruption. so i would always, always now say it's best to get it checked over
no-one will mind seeing you and checking you're ok even if it turns out it's nothing, but they would hate to miss someone who really needed seeing

I did just that. Pulled a muscle in my bump flushing the loo (?) at about 32 weeks. Hurt esp when I stood up. Called hospital mw who said just rest as they agreed what I described sounded muscular. I did and it went away by the next day.

If you haven't already, give the mw a call and let them decide if it's something to be concerned about.

Thank you for your comments. I managed to sleep and it seems to have passed this morning. So fingers crossed it was a pulled muscle. I'll rest and if it comes back will ring the mw.

Thanks.
