I'm 5 + 3 and have real bad pain in my pelvic region. No blood or brown discharge just alot more cm than when not pregnant!
It's come on all of a sudden and I've not over exerted myself as been on the sofa for 3 days blush
Have no idea what it could be but am obviously worried it mean my bean isn't sticky.

Is this your first pregnancy? Does it feel a lot like period pain? It could be your uterus stretching which is very normal in early pregnancy as it prepares?

No it's my 7th, I have 2 ds already. It's much much worse than period pain. Actually takes my breath away. Sharp pain low down to left of pelvis

I had this last week, am 6 weeks now! Was completely freaked as had a previous ectopic pregnancy so called the EPU and was scanned and the problem was a corpus leteum cyst which had ruptured - pretty normal and absolutely nothing to worry about. (Corpus luteum cysts are formed after an egg is released from the follicle, which then releases the hormones progesterone and estrogen that prepare the body for pregnancy. They generally collapse of their own accord - at least that's my understanding).
Saw a little heart beating away, too, so very exciting!
Anyway, so it's probably nothing but do get it checked out if it continues, especially if you have any brown discharge, bleeding, shoulder pain etc - might be worth ringing the EPU anyway if you can self refer or seeing GP if not, then they can confirm that it in't ectopic.
GOOD LUCK and fingers crossed.

Hi, you should really go to the EPU and get a scan. If it is an ectopic and your tube bursts you could be in a very dangerous situation and end up needing surgery. Good luck!
