Twenty three weeks. Bleeds at ten, seventeen and eighteen weeks. Pain for six weeks but they think it is pelvic girdle. Plans to go away to cottage in Cornwall sat for a week. It's forty five mins from Hearst hospital with maternity ward. I still having pain but no more bleeds and told take codydramol and referred to physio. I know baby hardly even viable yet but would u go or cancel?

I would go. Make sure you take your notes, and ideally make sure there's always someone fit to drive you to the hospital (ie not been boozing) as waiting for an ambulance would be a nightmare.

If at any point you start bleeding or having tightenings/contractions I would get straight to the hospital.

And I would take the opportunity to insist on doing no housework, cooking, lifting etc, and put your feet up and see if it helps.

Also, are you nearer to any other hospital? It might be worth asking your MW before you got if there's anything a non-maternity unit could do to buy you some time if anything did happen. I.e. are they likely to have steroids and/or GTN patches that they could give you and then transfer you to the further hospital? - Worst case scenario obviously.

Like I said, no bleeding for 5 weeks, I would go. Try to put your feet up and relax. Hope you have a lovely time smile

I would agree with impycelyn but only if you think you will relax and enjoy and not do too much, but if you have pelvic girdle pain you probably are pretty restricted to very short distance walking.
