won't go at nursery

My little boy is 2.2 and has been potty trained since Christmas. He has got the hang of it perfectly - except at nursery. I have been sending him in pants to nursery but they have given up and have started putting him in nappies, which I think is confusing him as I had a few accidents yesterday. I have asked them not to put him in nappies but they said he gets upset.

Does anyone have any advice/suggestions?
