Nap time nappies?

DS is going nappy free from Monday. He's 2.9yrs, and I'm sure he's ready for this (…may have to eat those words later!), but I'm wondering what to do about nap time. He often sleeps for over 3 hours during the day (loves his sleep!) so I'm assuming he'll have to have a nappy on during this time. Is that right? Will nap time dryness come before night time dryness?

Any advice appreciated!

3 hours - swop ya smile. Yes we did naps with nappy/step in nappies as she was too sleepy to remember to go to the potty. Then once she got the hang of it I would ask her to have a wee before going for a nap and again as soon as she got up which seemed to work. We haven't dropped night time nappies yet as they are always wet when she wakes. Good luck.

Thanks, that sounds like a good plan of action. So did you wait til your DD regularly had a dry nappy after naps before you stopped using them? Or did you risk it once she was happy doing a wee before and after and if so did she have many accidents? Sorry for all the questions!
