Prayers for Sarah

My friend Sarah is gravely ill and I'm asking everyone to please pray for her. Before Christmas Sarah was awaiting the results of some tests she had to discover if she had cancer. On Christmas day, before she could get the results, she was rushed to hospital with meningitis and is still in intensive care, not breathing for herself and unconscious.

Last week Sarah had both her legs amputated and it is likely she will lose her hands if not most of her arms too. As if she didn't have enough to cope with, the specialist has confirmed she does have cancer. Sarah is just 22.

Please, if you believe in God's power and love and even if you don't, please pray for Sarah and her family that they will find the strength to get them through this. Thanks.

Prayers from me too. A friend of a friend went through something similar re: the meningitis when she was 15. She's now an ambassador for the meningitis trust, and an inspiration to many, even though it has been a hard slog for her.
