Cupoftea's beautiful Beatrice was born last September with a number of serious disabilities and medical problems. Her life expectancy is likely to be limited and she has spent a lot of time in hospital both with feeding and respiratory difficulties. She is a treasured daughter and sister and Cup is an amazing mother who has shared Bea's journey with mumsnet.
Today she has again been admitted to hospital and they need our prayers and positive thoughts.
A few weeks ago we had a missionary speaking at our church and she referred to a part on Exodus when Joshua is fighting a battle. Moses is up on the hill and when he raises his hands to God the Isrealites are winning the battle. When he lowers them they start to lose. So when he grows tired Aaron and Hur prop him up on a rock and they hold his hands up. That's stuck with me as a picture and that's what Bea needs from us now. Hold up your hands in prayer:
For thanksgiving for Bea
For strength and peace for her mum and dad and sisters
For wisdom and compassion for all the medical team caring for Bea
For miracles - we don't always know what they look like bu miracles happen. I have faith.
If you prayer is your not thing then please think about Beatrice and her mum because they need you to hold them up.
