How do I show I am sending a copy of a letter by e-mail?

(4 Posts)

I need to send a letter to my solicitor, I have written it but want to send the original by post but a copy by e-mail. Is there some standard way to show that a copy has been sent? I wondered whether to write "cc sent by e-mail" and the date at the bottom, but it doesn't seem quite right to me.

Under the solicitor's address at the top, I would write: "BY POST AND EMAIL TO abc@xyz.com"

WSS.

Before SAHMing worked in law office.

Under recipient's address we put method(s) of sending, eg

By fax: 012334567789
And post

By email: client@domain.com
And post

By fax only

Etc.

Thanks!
