I am doing a party for my 3yr old at home for approx 10. What will I need in terms of food and games to make it a success (albeit a cheap success!!!)

Pass the parcel, pin tail on donkey, musical statues. Toys in garden so they can run around. Doesn't need to be too structured.

Food - sausages, sandwiches, cheese, cucumber, carrot sticks, quavers. Then jelly and ice cream.

Super!

we always factor in 'running around with balloons and screaming' as a party activity for under 5s.

At dd's 3rd birthday they went mad (in a good way lol) at the balloon drop and bubble machine.

Bubbles in the garden.

I find they don't want to play structured games and would rather just free play on the whole.

A disco strikes a good balance or just play some nice dancy music so they can frolic around.
